The handset's built in memory is 16 Mb, but a standard kit includes a 1GB external memory card. The media player features Track ID feature through which a user can obtain all information he wants about a song just by sending a few seconds of the song's recording. Other than its highly evolved music capabilities, the Sony Ericsson W850i also features a 2.0 megapixel camera with integrated flash and video recording capabilities. The Sony Ericsson W850i supports triband GSM mobile networks as well as 3G. The handset can give its user data connectivity speeds of up to 384 kbps in 3G network or at a slower rate in non-3G networks via built in class 10 GPRS technology.
