Airtel launches mobile phone back-up service in Punjab
CHANDIGARH:
Telecom services supplier Bharti Airtel on Thursday announced the launch of a
mobile back-up service, which will let endorsers to make a back-up for
their telephone data. The 'Airtel
Mobile Telephone Back-up Service', which have been started in Punjab, precautions the
data of a customer's mobile telephone including contacts, calendar, SMS, photos,
videos and music, depending on the telephone theoretical account of the subscriber, the company
said in statement. "It copies
the information in a unafraid mode to Airtel's Mobile River Telephone Backup system and enables
the client to reconstruct the saved information on his new or existent phone, whenever
the demand arises," it said. The
service would be available for both GPRS and non-GPRS phones, the statement
said, adding that the monthly subscription complaints for the service is Rs
30.
