Ecuador rejects America Movil's second bid to keep mobile phone concession

: President Rafael Correa warned Saturday that Mexican telecommunications company United States Movil must go forth Republic Of Ecuador unless it hikes an deficient 2nd command to maintain its mobile telephone service contract in the country.

"The first offering they presented us was a existent abuse to our intelligence. The 2nd isn't as bad, but it's calm far from what the grant is really worth," Correa said in his weekly radiocommunication address, without telling the amounts United States Movil had offered.

America Movil SAB, Latin America's biggest mobile telephone service provider, which is owned by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, have operated in Republic Of Ecuador since 1993. Its grant runs out in August, but two previous, unrevealed offerings to renew its trade were rejected by Ecuador's government.
