Mobile Phone Use While Pregnant May 'Seriously Damage Baby,' Study Says

Pregnant women who regularly utilize mobile telephones are more than likely to have got children with behavioural problems, according to a new study.

Mothers who used their mobile telephone while pregnant were 54 percentage more likely to describe issues such as as hyperactivity and emotional jobs in their children, Monday.

Using a mobile, or cell phone, two to three modern times a twenty-four hours was enough to raise the risk, and letting children under the age of seven usage a mobile telephone also set them in danger, the survey of more than than 13,000 women found.

The consequences were thought to be particularly important as one of the study's writers had been a prima skeptic over claims mobile telephones were a wellness risk.

Professor Leeka Kheifets of the University of Golden State had previously written there was no cogent evidence of "any harmful wellness effect".

But she and her three co-authors concluded there did look to be an association between mobile telephone exposure and behavioural problems.

However, they said radiation may not be the cause.

The research workers said there may be other possible accounts for the rise in behavioural problems, including that female parents who were frequently on the telephone through gestation might go on the form after birth, disbursement less clip with their babies.

The survey follows a determination by the functionary Russian radiation guard dog that the danger posed by mobile telephones is "not much less than the hazard to children's wellness from baccy or alcohol".

The UK's Health Protection Agency said the study's determinations were unexpected and highlighted the demand for cautiousness over mobile phones. But it stopped short of telling pregnant women not to utilize them.
